R&D to Ready Corporate, Friday & Saturday August 21 & 22 is 2 days and for busy Global Executive & Government R&D Scientists, PhD Engineers, International Industrial Designers, Manufacturing Finance Mavericks and New Product Development Professionals and focusing on alternative use case possibilities for advanced R&D.
The R&D to Ready Fellowship is Monday - Saturday August 17 - 22 and a 6 day total effort for full time students who are currently R&D Scientists, PhD Engineers, International Industrial Designers, Manufacturing Finance Mavericks and New Product Development individuals currently working on advanced NPD and lab based R&D efforts either completed or on it's way to being completed. The last 2 days of the Fellowship Friday & Saturday August 21 & 22 is together with the corporate and government groups.

The laser focused system of R&D to Ready, now in it's 5th year in Boston ( and with +20yrs of endorsements on LinkedIn ) is broken into 2 configurations:
#1) FOR MS AND PHD STUDENTS
consisting of a 4 day Monday - Thursday August 17 - 20, 2026 Fellowship of working groups, exercises and toolsets focusing on advanced design, engineering and new product development exercises for exploring the known unknowns as related to advanced R&D and cross functional applications and alternative use case methodologies. The R&D to Ready Fellowship contains the above with the additional 2 day executive add on Friday & Saturday August 21 & 22, 2026 with R&D corporate executives and government employees for a total of 6 days on campus & in labs.
#2) FOR BUSY EXECS & GOV EMPLOYEES
The 2 day Friday & Saturday August 21 & 22 R&D to Ready effort consists of 14 of the most effective design + design thinking + engineering + innovation + finance + new product development tool sets & case studies + 14 conversations ( 7 per day x 2 days ) with global innovation experts thus helping participants to building specific capabilities in: Alternative Use Cases for Advanced R&D, Out Of The Box Product Design Investigations, New Radical Manufacturing Systems Architectures, and NPD Innovation Leadership development.

LOGISTICS
R&D to Ready 2026 is once again in Boston and at one of the worlds most iconic University R&D Lab Environments as in past years. Fellowship participants are encouraged to fly in Sunday August 16th for ease of the Fellowship Program start at 9am Monday morning. Executive participants are encouraged to fly in Thursday August 20th for ease of the Corporate Program start at 9am Friday morning. Local hotel reservations and packages are available from the intake team. In addition a 10 year, US B1 visa is immediately available for qualified participants via our Washington DC, US Government partner law offices. HISTORY
Formalized in 2005 from it's initial creation and running in 1998 at the Xerox PARC Labs in Silicon Valley, Europe, Asia & UK, R&D then later with global organizations globally including the US Lawrence Livermore National Labs, The UK House of Lords, multiple university PhD programs, R&D based startups and Advanced manufacturing organizations and having been delivered to 1000’s of PhD & C-Level designers, engineers, execs, officers, students & researchers for more than 30 years.
In many cases, post R&D to Ready, participating executives, MS designers, PhD scientists and engineers and government officers have led sustainable, R&D lab based interventions & intrapreneurial innovation skunkwork teams inside and outside of corporate, university, military & government organizations furthering an initial " impossible " 1st mentality onto real world breakthroughs.

TEAM
Each of the international R&D to Ready instructors, operations team and program fellows have been involved with advanced research & development, design, industrial design. design thinking, engineering, manufacturing, finance and new product development launches and where each member has +30 years of specific experience with substantial international R&D breakthroughs and NPD success.
R&D to Ready is chaired by Professor Gregory Polletta who has globally delivered, in person, +50 full semester BA/MS/MBA/Ph.D courses in Computer Science, Engineering, Product Design, Design Thinking, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Industrial Design, Finance and VC for R&D Based New Product Development at institutions such as: Le Grande Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussees ENPC Ph.D Engineering & MBA Program, Paris ; University of Connecticut, USA; European School of Economics, Milan & Rome; Parsons School of Design, Paris; IFM MBA in Luxury Management Paris; Lucerne School of Art & Design, Switzerland; The ENPC d-school, Paris; The Royal College of Art London; St. Martins school of Design; ESB France Ideas to Innovations iCP Program, France; Harvard University, Boston; and many more. Previously, after +10 years with ENPC Paris & from +500 industry professionals passing through his iGNITE Convergence Program classes, Professor Polletta was named " The Most Inspirational Professor in the ENPC Ph.D Engineering & MBA Program for elite French engineers. Gregory has worked with Alessi, Xerox PARC, True Start Capital VC, London; Columbia University; Pfizer; MIT; The US National Science Foundation; The US Department of Defense; The Lawrence Livermore National Labs High Energy Plasma Physics Group; Guzzini & E-My Italia; Fujitsu; Roche Bobois; L’Oreal; Guzzini; Louis Vuitton; Swarovski; and many more.
